Stefan Noisternig was awarded the Fritz-Grasenick Prize

The Austrian Society for Electron Microscopy awarded the Fritz-Grasenick Prize 2021 to Stefan Noisternig.

The Austrian Society for Electron Microscopy awarded the Fritz-Grasenick Prize to PhD student Stefan Noisternig for his work on "In situ STEM analysis of electron beam-induced chemical etching of an ultra-thin amorphous carbon foil by oxygen during high resolution scanning" published in Ultramicroscopy.

The prize goes to young scientists in the field of electron microscopy and is provided by the "Verein zur Förderung der Elektronenmikroskopie und Feinstrukturforschung“ in Graz.
