Manuel Längle successfully defended his PhD thesis on 26 March, 2024, with supervisor Jani Kotakoski and opponents Sarah Haigh (University of Manchester) and Thomas Michely (University of Cologne), and chair Roberto Cerbino (University of Vienna). His thesis was on the topic "Lowenergy irradiation on 2D materials – from single defects to few-atom noble gas cluster". Congratulations!
